Brandon Green Headshot

1. Have a detailed, written tax plan that is tailored to your specific financial situation. This goes beyond just filing taxes. A good tax plan will identify all potential tax benefits and deductions you qualify for and help you strategically decide which ones to take advantage of based on your long-term goals.

2. Ensuring your legal business entity (ie. LLC, S-Corp) remains in good standing by filing required annual paperwork and paying fees. Failing to do so can leave you without the legal protections your entity needs to provide.

3. Conduct an annual review of your insurance policies (general liability, property, cyber, disability, life, etc.) to ensure you have adequate coverage. This can help identify gaps or outdated coverage that could leave you vulnerable in the event of an incident.

4. Make a concerted effort to continually educate yourself on financial best practices, whether through regular meetings with a financial coach, taking classes, reading books or listening to podcasts. This helps ensure you're making informed decisions to grow your wealth.
